Do not Quote me on this but when im level 62 and i solo in that one place, omg, i forgot the name its right next to WOS, but i solo Murks, aggro solo mostly, enough room to do that, and u got the good dots
and slows, and all that good stuff to run urself around in a circle and let ya dots and ya little spectre pet wack on its back, not bad XP, and its pretty easy.

I would recommend solo'n in Noble's Causeway. There is really only one Great necro camp here.<DS murks> This camp TOTALLY ROCKS for exp. And if you are luckey, you might loot some good gear as well as slugworms.

Yah, sorry I didn't see his post, thats what i ment to say :)

I heard of a great solo-kiting opportunity earlier. Unfortunately it involves being of sufficient level, the DoD expansion, and having 2 friends, some of you may lack :P jk lol (don't hurt me). Get 2 friends in your group (they can be doing TS or AFK/Selling in bazaar, whatever). They must simply be in your group. Anyways... go to Corantus Creep and get the mission The Lost Notebook (easy is easier to manage, hard has insanely good xp). Now go to Stoneroot Falls and zone in and let the ******* awesome xp begin.

Quick Notes: Some of the drachnids do cast some pretty nasty DoTs. For one thing, They cast Pyrocruor which, if you are reading THIS method of soloing then your are familiar with it. Now... I don't know about you but MY Pyro spell DOES NOT do anything even near 834 per tick like theirs does.... which is BS. But anyways, The drachnids are like necros on steroids, they have many of our spells (darkness, pyro, etc.), but their spells do crazy amounts of damage. So... good luck, don't die and please don't abuse this tactic, or SOE will nerf it (and none of us want that now, do we? I didn't think so).

I always tried to stick to lesser hunted zones so I won't have to fight for camps but here's a few more spots:

25-35 Sisters in Ocean of Tears (great xp and pp, bring some weight reduction bags)

35-44 Glacier Yeti in DL (North cave has 7 statics and 2 roamers)

49-51 Graveyard camp in Katta (can stay here as long as you want but mobs start going light blue around 57)

51-54 Felwithe guards (If your just lookin for xp stick with katta, but for a change of pace and some great pp try it, again bring some weight reduction bags)

59-67 PoV (any camp, they are all very soloable. keep in mind you will get lots of resists, so I wouldn't try it alone before 63 without sow/extended range)

67-70 I was soloing entrance to the Hive, but that word seems to have leaked out and now it is always camped on my server. Great spot for AAs, was making 4 or 5 an hour there but the warping is a bit of a problem until you feel out the limits.

Nice bump on this...

Mid 50's I did nicely in Natimbi with turtles, hynids, etc. Good spot for aggro kiting or fear "ping-ponging" behind the camp, and another on the seaward side of the plain across the river. Pull up to side of hill and run around or fear.

If they're both camped, you cast dmf (or put on your EB item) and jump in the water. You can make a circuit from the camp counterclockwise around back to the camp...plenty of mobs and I rarely see anyone in the water.

The xp is pretty fair at that level and the drops are decent.

Nice posts everyone, very informative, alot of what ive found with the necro is that you can solo 1-70 and all aa's in a variety of zones, alot comes down to preference or as of lately for me, tradeskills lol. heres what i did from 1-70. 1-16, buy a big stick, and kilvas skin of the flames, get temperance and go beat stuff up in kurns field of bone, then to kurns tower, at 16 i used the same tactic in PC until 21, make sure if you do it this way to use a variety of spells, temperance makes it easy, and damage shields kill the mob so use the opportunity to work up your spell skills at the same time, at 21 i killed lightcrawlers in DSP, pulled them from the GE entrance over near the shroom fort, as long as you dont kill tribals the only possible adds are lightcrawlers, if you are fear kiting at this point i recomend you STOP and swich over to agro kiting. this again is a matter of preference at this point but on higher levels fear kiting works less and less and gets more dangerous so its nice to learn agro kiting early imo, at around 25 i killed zelniacs and then large zelniacs, then rockhoppers and stonegrabbers, stayed in that spot near shroom fort till about level 36, after that did dreadlands till about 44, pulled to the north wall of KC, no adds there along the wall, avoid spiders but not to big a deal, just have to deal with root, from 44-51 was real slow for me, i did it in BW, at the giant fort, prolly coulda found a better spot, at 51 necros get the amazing DOT called splurt, with this i killed in PON for great xp till about level 56, from 56 i grouped/soloed in POV till 62, this again was slow so may wanna take another suggestion there, at 62 HOH was a breeze, killing 2 guardians at a time was easy and great xp till 65, after 65 and even now for aa i killed the murkgliders in WOS, currently on level 70 i get about 7% aa a kill for agro kiting them, hope this helps and read the other posts as well, and most importantly have fun

I soloed from 63 to 65 in mostly PoV and HoH. Heres what I did:
At 63 you get an awesome spell called Embracing Darkness which is a very very handy spell to have since it lasts 2 minutes. So anyway the way I did things (In PoV first off) was that I would first single pull a mob, splurt, dark plague, funeral pyre and then just recast funeral pyre and plague as needed. Usually around 30% you'll have to reapply snare.
In halls of honor it was primarily the same thing, although I would ocassionally put Saryrn's Kiss on there to give some HP back, or just stack another dot on there (A good one is Pyrocruor since its also kinda hard to resist)
At level 64 you get Seduction of Saryrn, which speed things up tremendously (Or at least I thought so)
Just a side note, I also kited Murkgliders in Noble's Causeway for a while, but I foudn those to be a tad bit dangerous without healing potions because theres always that 50% chance that the murk that you pull is going to cast that nasty dot Gloom Toxin, which is no fun at all. It likes to kill off your pet too if you're not careful.
I hope you guys find my post to be somewhat informative!

all i can say is PoV , doesn't matter what camp, after 62ish you can handle em all, just pull dot and sick pet, i have gone all over and the only place that matches the xp for the time is a DoDh spell misson which can be a pain if not the right lvl. i am 67 with all spells and 6k unbuffed and i still get the most xp from here, all though loot sucks. this is mine and your lil secret.

I've been solo'n in Katta and I'm up to 52 now, but xp is slowing down and I'm ready for a change.... anyone tried solo'n GE or Draniks Scar? I hear they're good xp but not sure if they are any as a good solo spot. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Also if you've got any better solo spots from 52 to 59 or so, hollar. I'm not all that well geared, so I think Murks in NC gonna be a little rough for me.

Gunthak beach is a good time. plenty of undead to kill so you'll keep your bone chips stocked up. loot isn't bad by any means. plenty of room to kite.
Dulak was one of my favorite zones. i was probably there from 50-60 which is possible because the difficulty progresses from boat to boat. there's an ok charm that drops among other gear drops. the loot is terrific for the level of the zone. the xp is great because there's always a mob roaming around while you're waiting for your boat to spawn so you won't get bored.
HoH is a good place to solo. plenty of room at the entrance area and easy to split mobs. bad thing is there's hardly any loot but they do drop etheral parchments. plus if you want to make it interesting you can roam around while you kill to get deeper and deeper into the zone.
PoV was a great place to solo at any of the camps. good loot but camps can be hard to come by, especially on the weekends. also, etheral and spectral parchment drops. plenty of room to kite at any camp.
Noble's Causeway is always fun because you can pretty much make a camp anywhere you have enough room to pull. great loot, gem drops, occasional gear drops.
WoS can be good. mobs summon which can suck but necros can deal with it. keep the heal spell going and lifetap. depending on if you let your pet tank or decide to kite it can be a fun challenge. loot is great, too.

I solo'd in Dranik's Scar today at level 40. It was a slow process as far as kills went, but the experience was f%^&ing amazing.

Basically, you hang out behind the named Unuk spawn point (east side of the zone) and pull to there. Kill the named when he spawns, but his timer is about 15 minutes. It's slow, like I said, and a lot of the mobs resisted my DoTs, but with a good pet and Drain Spirit, it's doable. You've got better DoTs, so I'm sure you could solo it.

Besides, that named drops a badass aug.

ok here it is for new necros, some easy reading fir you
always remember necro is alsways best in outdor zones-we need room to run.

get a binch of deathfist belts and turn them in until lvl 10 or 12, the maybe go to the karanas, its been a while so figure out how to get to lvl 20

at lvl 20-30 go to lake of ill omen, as you progress move your way to the sarnak tower

30-40 the overthere

40-50 the dreadlands

50-53 you are kind of inbtween try and get a Karnor Castels group

53-60 solo yard trash in PoN youll have to learn at this point to aggro kite or reverse kiting instead of fear kiting

60-70 WoS grps they are easy enough to find

70 + i am not there yet but i see Katta grps always lookin for people

and thats how i got my necro to lvl 65 in record time

Ok quick guide for anyone to use.
First off glooming deep till 10 unless your exp player, then you dont need to read this.

#2 FoB Field of bone till about lvl 12 then progress to kurns where you will harvest all the bones chips you will need for awhile!

#3 All in prefrence I always left kurns at 15 or 16 and went to paludal caverns great exp till about 22.

#4 Neth lair till about 26 or 27 depends on skill!

#5 them move to dsp fairly easy to fear kite zelniak at zone line but watch for those damn wolves as you get bigger the more the zone becomes availabe.

#6 At about 38 I went to Dreadland headed to castle and kite mobs up and down the sides of the castle works better with sow.

#7 From there I moved to Burning woods to the giant fort pretty safe spot lots of undead apes and skellies there. Also Giants have decent loot for npc selling.

#8 At about 53 I left the safety of BW and found my way to PoM of of the great divide. Its lonely there but mobs are very easily single pulled hit for 200 to 300 and lots of room for kitting. Still there now at 58 and still good xp both aa and regular 1 to 2% a kill reg xp and 8 to 12% aa exp.

Hope someone can put this to use. I would have put more detail into techniques,
but all these spots are pretty straight forward.

Also at 55+ blackfeather roost is pretty good solo xp and fairly safe kite spot!!!!

Now 62 I think I will try and solo HOH and see how that xp is since it a Hot Zone.... wish me luck

Here's the path I took.

1 - 12 Gloomingdeep

13 - 14 Crescent Reach -- Alligators and Mucktails, some quests

15 - 20 S. Ro. -- Caimans (repeat the caiman quest until you stop getting good xp!) on the beach (hot zone when I did it)

21 - 33 Blightfire Moors (another hot zone) -- start with rats and vipers, move to gnolls, saplings, treants, and witchlamps -- do the quests for good stuff; somewhere in here I also tried sporali and hedge witches

34 - 41 Spectres in S. Ro. -- kite them for a while until you can kill them faster -- also baleful briars in Blightfire Moors

42 - 43 -- N. Ro -- sand giants elite for coin and xp.

You want uber XP, great loot, a boatload of AA and alot of fun from 46-65?

Got merc?

Got prime gear, muzzle of mowcha, prime belt and proc'ing pet weapons?

Good.

Here you go...

Level 46-60-Sebilis. Start at the top and work your way down to the jugs. Great vendor loot in the form of gems, most of your spells will drop in there with a few exceptions, nice gear drops, steady and easy pulling once you get the rhythm down etc. I would easily clear 1k pp an hour in vendor trash and bazaar sellables with little real effort. One of the nice things during the anniversary fabled mobs is that I cashed in on a Fabled Manarobe that would have rotted.

Once you get your level 60 pet get thee to the Plane of Hate. Start at the entrance and work your way back to Innoruuk. Nice gear drops, loads of Tradeskill drops that will sell well, some gem drops, plat drops of 5-14pp, pretty static mobs with few roamers and crazy XP/AA.

Today I just dinged 62 and I have turned off regular XP and am working on AA-I am getting (depending on mob) 9-18% AAXP per kill. I plan to stick around until I get an extra 100 or so AA. I do spell research so all the drops I can use to make my spells and spells for others from 55-65. Some of these sell very well because you either get them from farming parchment drops in PoP and do the turn in roulette (boring, boring, boring, tedious, tedious, tedious, my hand is falling asleep, I hate PoP, I spent too much time there when I used to raid, I don't care if I ever see Plane of Nightmare ever again) or get someone to craft them for you. One thing you have to remember is that this is still considered a "raid zone" so you will have a 5 min recovery timer but that is really not a hinderance.
