- higher level air pet????

I have been reading that people say they have 66 and 71 air pet. But last I checked on the spell list the air pet you can get is level 59. After that there all monster summoning. What am I missing or how do I get the higher level air pets. I want to be able to tank. I am level 60 usiing monster summoning and having hard time in sunder rock springs.
