playing eq for bout 2 years on sayrn lev 64 2 questions maybe can get some info???? as far as the aa abilty if u choose an ilusion of one of elements do u get there skills such as waters bs and earths root and also what makes crits happen more often /does lev have sometin to do with it rain spoell verse dd /specalization /aa or is it combo of all / did notice hehe after hit 64 started crits for 1 in bout every 5 casts of malestrom of thunder befor that heh could cast 50 nukes with out a crit do have spell castin fury 2 but gettin to 65 before drop anymore in AA /any info ???

Ok, first off.. Punctuation[tm]. It's what's for dinner.

Secondly regarding the elemental forms, Arfyak is both right and wrong. The forms offer the look, a few abilities, he's right about the EB, and some stats. They do all offer abilities, but not those that your pets do, exactly. Water is the most commonly used one because it offers added mana regen.

It breaks down like this. Water = mana regen and EB. Air = lev, see invis and resists. fire = int, casting level (IE, for terms of what your spells will hit, as a 65 you'd count as lvl 70 for rank 3), and ds. Earth just gives stamina and HPs. Lots of hps.

Now, that said, the forms in general suck for 2 reasons. One, they only last 32 mins and the recast time is 72 mins. Two, to get a form to rank three you need to spend 18(!!!!!!) aa on it.

Now, if you feel like burning 18 aa for mental clairity 4 and an eb stone, feel free, but there's better ways to spend it. (as for the other 3 forms, they're ok, but not for 18 aa.)

To update the above information, the timing has been changed so that you can "cast" these elemental forms every 15 minutes and they still last 32 minutes, so you can keep any of these forms up constantly. I, personally, spent the 18 AAs for water elemental 3 and have not regretted it one bit. 4 more mana per tick is 4 more mana per tick. It does not stack with a horse, but I find that I am rarely in a zone hunting where I can cast my horse anyway. I just hit my water elemental form hotkey when ever I recast burnout on my pet, and it is always there. :)
