Rangers - Master trackers. With the skills of both a fighter and a druid, plus some unique skills of their own, rangers can be very difficult to develop and have a number of different ways to be played.

What is the best way to play a ranger? Can a ranger be soloed, and if so how? How should you play a ranger within a group? What spells and skills are the most important for the ranger? Isnt Elite steel slave stoneblade and stained axe of the scions better then the ranger epics swiftwind and earthcaller?

No. Your mainhand you can get away with useing a different wep and be fine. Swiftwind is still dam ni the best offhander you can get tho. I'd say use a Axe mainhand and Swift offhand.

I would have to agree that Swiftwind and Earthcaller are still good wepaons to have. I would use Swiftwind (40% haste worn) in off hand and use Axe in main hand. I still would have Earthcaller on hand because it does give you a nice DOT spell with it. Than switch back to one of your other weapons.
