Classes: The Warrior

Warriors - the tank class. Combining a powerful offense with a strong defense, warriors are best suited to slugging it out toe to toe with the monsters they face.

What is the best way to develop and play your warrior? What skills are the most useful for a warrior to develop and master? Can a warrior be soloed, and if so how? How should the warrior be played within a group? What weapons and armor whould the warrior seek out?

Post your strategies on how to best play and develop the Warrior and read, rate and comment on what others have to say.

I am getting into some new content lately and its changing the way I utilize my Discs. My question here is what is the best stragety on playing out my defencive discs. So far I have been using Defencive form(stonewall's snare makes it dificult to use, unless I am in a stable position), Aura of Runes, then Fortitude as a last ditch effort, while I call away all discs down, next tank to the front. those are the only three that I know of that can be used back to back, if I am wrong please say so. If anyone has any suggestions, other than, shut up noob, I would apriciate it.

Use of disc's usually depends on situation... eg raid or group, mobs faced, mobs in camp etc.

What situation(s) are you in?

Just defensive should be enough for goats.
Depending on the other mobs, I (and the other tanks in guild) generally start with Fortitude or Furious to give the healers time to settle in (especially if picking up from another tank), then defensive/evasive/stonewall. I generally don't bother with runes to save the End for agro generation etc.

Calling Fort/Furious off and Defensive/Evasive (still use for some mobs)/Stonewall off is a smart move.

But every situation is different. We generally don't switch tanks when disc's are down unless the tank dies (or the mob absolutely requires defensive).
