To begin Pottery you need a few basic assets:

A few skill points (I started with 11)
40-50pp
5hrs
8 Lg Boxes or Backpacks

Now you're ready to go shopping! Go to South Ro to the Dark Elf camp.  There are vendors there that sell pottery sketches. BE CAREFUL! This area is home to many Mummies and Skeletons.  Even at lvl 22 I had to run a few times.
 

Buy:

    40 Med Jar Sketches
    20 Ceramic lining Sketches
    250-300 Med Bowl Sketches

Now run to Neriak and locate the pottery wheel, ChonChon (close to the wheel), and a place to buy flasks of water. Buy 60 or so water and fill the rest or your inventory with small clay bars.  You'll need 40 total.
 

Place the following ingredients in the Pottery Wheel ... NOT THE KILN

    1 med jar sketch
    1 flask water
    1 small clay block
    COMBINE

Repeat until this becomes trivial at about 23 skill. Destroy or drop any successful combines...the firing sheets use up all profits and firing an item becomes trivial before crafting it on the wheel.

Repeat with ceramic lining. Becomes trivial at 36 skill.

    1 Ceramic lining sketch
    1 Flask water
    1 Small clay block

Repeat with Med Bowls. Trivial at 122 skill

    1 Med bowl sketch
    1 Flask water
    1 Block clay

Note this recipe uses the "block of clay" not the small block of clay the first two used.

Now you're ready to create your first profitable item!

The Vial

    1 Vial sketch
    1 Flask Water
    1 small clay block
    1 Skin or Pelt

Note: Any non-ruined skin or pelt will do however I prefer zombie skin because its light and stack able.

Now if you're succesful you'll want to finish your vial in the kiln using 1 High Quality Firing Sheet and your Unfinished Vial. Now you have a vial. You can sell these to rouges and enchanters for about 2-3plat.

I assume once vials are trivial you can start on lined vials, however I have yet to try it. I'll keep you posted.
