Isn't a "glaive" a big 2-hand weapon? A 6-foot bladed weapon with a long handle?

Just quibbling because I'm jealous of people with stuff like this. :)

Can someone who codes this site please fix the 'Additional Modifiers' section to not show % damage added, cause thats not what bane damage does. It's quite misleading.

D&D describes it as a type of polearm too, heh.

glaive
n. Archaic
A sword, especially a broadsword.

\Glaive\, n. [F. glaive, L. gladius; prob. akin to E. claymore. Cf. Gladiator.] 1. A weapon formerly used, consisting of a large blade fixed on the end of a pole, whose edge was on the outside curve; also, a light lance with a long sharp-pointed head. --Wilhelm.

2. A sword; -- used poetically and loosely.

What's funny is that does indeed describe a glaive as a polearm. Glaive is describing the shape of the blade, I think.
