Hey, I see these posts here from way back when, but these days Fire is mostly empty, on Stromm at least. Could someone explain where these camps are? I'm soloing here as a mage (74), and so far have just been killing close to the zone out, as it's sometimes hard to control the number of mobs aggroed with them wandering around. I'd love to know a better place to pull to. Thanks.
I had sap drop off both the regular Obsidian Spider and Spiderling.
Obsidianwood sap drop from obsidianwood spider in fire, fort 1 or 2, drop rate is about 1 per hour of clearing ... with CoD pet hasted /grin. The drop rate is the same in both area (fort 1 and 2), the xp is better with a grp at fort 2 , and the fight are more fun .

Not sure I understand your location definitions. I have only found the tree spiders in Field 1, even Mephit City has the mobs called "trained" spiders. and the ones past the first wall are all "lava" spiders.
Am I reading this wrong? Or are these guys found in more than just Field 1 in PoFire?

I know Common is the default, just thought I would throw in here that it is definately rare, very very rare. You are lucky to see 1 in a clearing of the entire courtyard 1 in pofire.
