If a druid has this can it crit on procs and use focus items for more damage? Read somewhere that as long as the player can cast the spell that crit aa's and increased damage focus can increase the damage output.
Yes, both AA and items effect procs... so a druid with saaaay, the ID4 belt, max Spell Casting Fury, and this, would recieve roughly a 14% chance to crit, as well as the improove damage 4.

Focus items do not affect DD procs, AA skills do. My wizard has the Noq wand from Inktuta and when that AA crits it does 517 damage - normal is 250. The extra damage is made up of +100% (250) from SCF3 and + 7% from DF1. I never get any more than that, despite having 45% ID focus on fire DDs.
I believe focus items DO affect procs if the proc is a spell you could normally cast yourself. So a Druid should get full effect from this one.

I have had focus effect from Ornate Scepter increase the damage from a Rune Etched Icewurm Fang proc when i was playing my shaman. The ID4 belt did not affect damage for the fang or for any other weapons he has. will post any info I find about focus effects and weapon procs.

Procs ok. I am not a Cleric so I cant compare it to the Cleric Hammer but I had it proc 3-4 times every fight. Mind you it was in Sol Ro and the proc was resisted every time and the fights were long since we only had me and an SK doing damage. I figure on a normal fight, it should proc 2-3 times max. Havent tried it with Rabid Bear yet. I did however, pull agro from the SK when it proc'ed so be mindful of agro control when you use it. :)
Shame this goes to only classes that don't melee ...

Does anyone know the proc rate of this weapon vs. the proc rate of the summoned cleric hammer? 302 dmg is nice but if it only procs a fourth of the time the hammer does, it's not that great.

Doesn't proc anywhere near as much as the cleric hammer. Can't put any numbers on it but the cleric hammers do more damage from shear number of procs. Criting for 600 on a proc is cool though. :)

one difference, cleric hammer is unresistable proc, this is Fire check with 0 in resist check, so anyone with 200 or more fire resist will pretty much resist it.
so on high end pvp (i'm on pvp server) this is useless for clr compared to summoned hammer or the coral headed mace from PoWater.

I would think firestrike cause look at the goober he's a fire baddie. Usually the stats on the picture have been correct.
Yeah somebody just made a mistake when inputting this item is all, besides Firestrike is a better overall effect I think as I recall the spell does in the range of 300 dd ratgher than the 150 Frost Strike would.
